Racing, crawling, or bashing this mount is for you!
Now, I have tested this mount and the original version ended up being too weak in around the one mounting point. This version you see in these pics has been improved in a manner to greatly strengthen the area of initial concern.
I can guarantee one thing for certain, there is no side to side play whatsoever with the trannies. Also, this mount does *not* move in any direction. It is secured 100% top to bottom and side to side. It's a simple, yet very effective design.
The two major benefits of this style of upper link mount are:
1. Totally solid mount.
2. Much better clearance of the links around the top of the tranny and motor. Since I added this to my Vindicator race clod, it allowed me to drop the ride height to the lowest possible settings that my chassis will allow. In racing, that is an extremely beneficial option to have available.
